Paris Hilton Wants to Be on Every Part of Your Body

The queen of extensions was on-hand in Chicago this weekend to promote her new line of hair-extensions, DreamCatchers. I did Google searches for "Dream Catchers Hilton," "DreamCatchers hair," "Dream Catchers extensions," and "Dream Catchers Hilton hair extensions," and I could not find a single example of this product or information on how one might go about purchasing it. So, good work, Paris. This is a foolproof product launch. It's like that one time your sister launched an entire hotel and forgot to copyright the name. You kids are business prodigies, I swear.

Also, who launches a line of hair extensions in Chicago? Are they supposed to double as thermal outerwear? I love Chicago, but it's not exactly an area where the Paris Hilton aesthetic has a whole lot of pull, at least not compared to Los Angeles. Hm. Maybe Jessica Simpson's line of extensions has the West coast cornered, so Hilton's trying to promote somewhere else.

Whatever. Her hair looks fake.

If you REALLY wanted to get paris' dream catchers - i could tell you where to get them -- but let me tell you from experience YOU DONT WANT THEM!!!! the lady in the pink standing behind paris does my dream catchers in Beverly Hills - they tell you a bunch of lies and fail to tell you a whole bunch of other stuff - the prices they give you and what it really costs when they are done are way off!!!!! the hair falls out ALOT!!!! and see how paris has her hair pulled back - thats so you cant see where her short hair ends and the extensions begin -- i have to wear my hair that i paid a stupid amount of money for pulled back everyday so it doesnt look horrible -- way to go paris - this was definately a horrible product to put your name on!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Dream Catchers is a TOTAL scam. In both New York and Chicago tradeshows, the company sold ZIP CODES for $1000 each. They told us we could return for a class where we would receive our "kit" for training. They had nothing available. People were SO ANGRY, they started walking out. The owner, husband and wife from South Africa tell one lie after another. THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM. Don't buy into it. I a group of the salons that bought zip codes are working together to sue the company. Paris is not involved. Almost all the employees have quit. WATHC OUT!

I heard Paris had a new line of extensions so after 3 hours finally found site. As I was looking it over I noticed they claim hair can be installed in 2 hours...funny thing is on one of their articles posted on the SAME website they said it took "an incredible 10 hours" to install and style on Paris!

I also tried calling the company to see how I could go about ordering...the only way is to pay $1,000.00 for the rights to my zip code PLUS $500.00 every 6 months to keep it. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!

I agree this company seems to be nothing but lies and full of making money. Maybe this guy should go back to South Africa?

In defense of dream catchers, the fact that her hair needs to be pulled back is not because the hair extensions are bad. The reason for this is because the stylist that cut and blended Paris' hair after the extensions were applied is. Blending extensions into one's natural hair is a learned skill. I've been doing extensions for years. I mainly used Great Lengths and Donna Bella Milan. Both very good quality. I'd love to try dream catchers, but can't buy the product without a first paying $1000 for a zip code.

A lot of people on this page have a lot of negative things to say about something they apparently know NOTHING about. Any extension company, product company, etc charges you for education. SIMPLE. Try and carry a color line and have them not educate you to represent their product? As an added bonus you get the exclusive rights to a zip code and are the only salon in the zip code that is supplied by Dream Catchers. Dream Catchers is new the U.S. and is going to be huge and Paris' hair is fabulous. And any successful stylist who cannot afford a $1000 investment had better get a dayjob!

Anonymous said...

Alot of people are misunderstanding the whole concept of Dreamcatchers. Before you knock this down, why don't up listen up! Noone talks about Great Lengths charging 1800 dollars for traning for one day and if I wanted two days of training they charge me another xx amount of dollars and this does not even give me a secure spot to bring great lengths into my salon! Dreamcatchers has a GREAT idea to keep unwanted supply to salons in the same area. I really wouldnt want my next door salon carrying the same thing I have such as hair extensions and compete to keep my clients in my salon. The public can go anywhere to get great lengths done. With Dreamcatchers I have a secure clientale with my zip code I would not have to compete with my "other" salons with the same product! Also I want to be the only one in my area to supply to those who want Dreamcatchers. In other words if you dont have a ZIP code you are going to loose clients to your "Other" salons that do carry Dreamcatchers. We are all here to make money, so why dont take advantage of what is handed to you and quit complaining about 1000 dollar investment. I have brought in one client and this was paid off by one application!!!
If you cant afford 1000 dollars then what kind of business are you running?

I purchased the Dreamcatchers system at the Midwest Beauty Show in Chicago. I went to the training which was a total joke. They had us sign a bogus agreement that was on the back of the sheet that stated the balance was paid in full, saying we would pay extra money every 6 months for the system. Well nobody knew that was on the back off th paper. So everyone freaked out and the coordinator had to waive the fees. Then mysteriosly after lunch on the first day all of the hair they had to do extensions on someone in the class, was stolen. Yeah right! Annyway, the product was supposed to launch April 16th, here it is a month later and still nothing. I am so frustrated with the whole thing. I really feel like I was ripped off. I want my money back. I want nothing to do with a scam.

Anonymous said...

I see that someone from Dream Catchers is trying to get some positive comments out there. I couldn't agree more with the negativity towards this scam company. The $1000 is not the problem. I've paid a lot more than that for a class. The problems lies in the fact that much of what I've been told, as a "zip code owner", is a complete story. The whole zip code strategy is completely genius. I love the idea. What's happened though is this company put a ton of money in to launching this product, but was not even close to being ready to conduct a proper business. I was told between the Chicago and New York show, they sold about 150 zip codes. $150,000 is a lot of money without even having to sell any product. All I can say is they better get it together real quick or it's over. How they got Paris Hilton to buy into this whole is unbelievable.

I just came across this blog. It's nice to know that I don't feel like the only one being duped out of money. Does anyone have an idea as to how we can talk with one another without having to post our contact information on this blog. I want to get involved in this law suit thing. I don't care if I get my $1000 back. I just think people should have to pay for unethical actions. I know a lot of people don't like Paris Hilton. I actually don't mind her all that much. Let's not be so hard on her. She made a poor decision allowing her name to be asssociated with this company. Did you guys get invited to this big "celebrity party" when you bought your zip code? I plan on going because it's the only thing they've offered to give me for the $1000. Hopefully we can find out what's going on with this thing. Hope Paris gets out of jail in time for the party.

Anonymous said...

Can someone please give the deatils of any legal persuits regarding this - class action or otherwise. I would like to get involved. I purchase alot of zip codes - like 2 dozen and am out alot of $$. I am with you about this company not having their shit together and am starting to think it's a scam as well. Just so every one knows Paris will not be getting out of jail in time for the party - her sentence can not be reduced any further and her lawyer abandoned any further attempts to appeal. She is in on the 5th and is doing 1/2 of 45 days - do the math. I wonder if they are sill having the party anyways - seems like a big joke.

Hi, I work for Dream Catchers. Obviously after reading the above postings, I would like to set a few things straight and would urge anyone who is upset or unhappy to contact us at corporate to work out your issues. The majority of our certified stylists are doing a great deal of business. They cannot get their orders in fast enough and their clients love the product. If you contact us, we can evaluate how you are marketing the product in house and help you to drive business at your salon. As for owning a few dozen zip codes, that is not true because all of the individuals with that many we are on a personal basis with--and they would not post on here so that is an invalid claim. We eagerly await to hear from you and help you succeed with our company! Thank you.

Anonymous said...

To the person who works for Dream Catcher's - you are WRONG -I did purchase that many zip codes and you have no way of knowing WHO would post. When I was SOLD your system I was told that YOU would be doing EXTENSIVE advertising in "major publications" and that the advertising would begin May. Well May is over and you haven't done anything but you claim "Star" magazine. Who reads "Star" - no one with enough money for hair extensions. Now you are saying that WE need to market YOUR product. That seems to be what the deal is.You don't even have the referrals going through your website. How hard is that to set up? I could have spent the amount of money I spent with you on my own advertising and at least gotten some business I am sure. I have gotten NOTHING but a bunch of stories, promises and lies.

Anonymous said...

Please take note if you had to look at the Star Magazine of May 11, you would note there is a full color page ad of DreamCatchers. As explained advertizing will be on a regional basis until all states have completed training. This ad was circulated within New York and Chicago. These were the two first states who had completed their training.

Hiding behind an anonymous name, one could easily make up misleading stories. Im sure if you had invested the money you said you had you would have contacted us. That would be the first action of any concerned client.

Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us direct.

I had Dream Catchers put in by a stylist who had previously been using Great Lengths extensions on me. I've had them for about a month now and they dance circles around the Great Lengths extensions. The price I paid was reasonable, my stylist is fantastic, and I've never gotten so many compliments on the hair. NONE have fallen out. I did hear about the hassle in Chicago, and the company has had some trouble getting off the ground - they had been a very small operation before the Hilton's decided to try to take them global.....but I find the product to be fantastic!!

Add "hypocrite" to the list of things that apply to the folks from Dream Catchers. Aren't you also posting anonymous? I can narrow it down to 1 or the 3 of you from South Africa though, since whoever is posting doesn't know how to spell or speak English. It is obvious that you haven't been in business for very long because if you had, you would know that when you sell someone a scam, they wouldn'tbe contacting you - they would be contacting their attorneys. Over a month ago I was told that you had sold approximately 900 zip codes. That = $900,000. So, you only ran 1 local add 1 time over 1 month ago in a tabloid that people with the money to do hair extensions probably don't read. Great way to spend our money!! This is not what I was told and not what I signed up for. Maybe all our money is actually paying for your "almost" Bevery Hills location.

To all who this concerns... MY NAME IS LAURA WINBERG and I own zip codes 91730 * Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. 91739* Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. * 92651 Laguna Beach Ca. * 92653 Laguna Beach Ca. * and 92656 Aliso Viejo and I have read what has been written on this web site and like all of you I was very concerned so I call Hair Tec and talked to Rob for about 1 1/2 hours about the situation with Paris and how she has handled her jail time and what it means to me as a stylist offering her hair extensions. Bottom line is this It's the BEST HAIR out there and I have used Hairlocs, and Great Lengths so I know the quality of hair that the other company offer. Paris Hilton might not be the best person and she does make a lot of mistakes BUT, she has the BIGGEST DIAMONDS, THE NEWEST BAGS, THE HIGHEST HEELS, THE BEST LIFE STYLE ( when not in jail ) THE SMALLEST DOGS and THE COOLEST CARS so with all that said OFCORSE SHE WOULD WEAR THE BEST EXTENSIONS that's it !!! BOTTOM LINE my clients want the best I give them DREAM CATCHERS BY PARIS HILTON because it is the best MY NAME IS POSTED I STAND BY WHAT I WRITE.

BY the way maybe it is not the extensions maybe it is the person doing the extensions as in just because you buy a bottle of redken hair color does not mean you are a colorist!!!

I own a salon in Houston, TX and I got involved with Dream Cachers a little over a month ago. I have received two phone calls through Dream Catcher's advertising in salon mags and an interview Paris did in a style magazine. I have also done 6 of my own clients. Needless to say I have more than broke even on my thousand dollars. All these other people need to fall back and if they had anything close to a successful salon they would be marketing their existing clients and not worrying about the advertising campaign. im sure the folks over at dream catchers know what they are doing and obviously know a little more about marketing than a stylist from middle america. I second everything Laura Winberg says....

AND to the dumb bitty who wrote the first comment.....if "and see how paris has her hair pulled back - thats so you cant see where her short hair ends and the extensions begin -- i have to wear my hair that i paid a stupid amount of money for pulled back everyday so it doesnt look horrible".......what hair extension do you think could possibly be blending to hide if you have really short hair? That is not possible. Go buy yourself a lace front wig and

I have been around (I work for a cosmetic company that sells at the same shows Dreamcatchers does)and observed Dreamcatchers...After their launching show I personally heard the owner say "we've got these mother ******* by the balls, now we just need to figure out how to get more money out of them." I was standing by his booth in Chicago ready to buy a zip code for a small salon I run in Evansville, Indiana and can only assume he was referring to the zip codes he had just sold. As a result I decided against it and purchased product from another company at the show.

Decide for yourself...but if I had it my way I would not do business with a company (no matter how good their product is) if they talk about their customers this way.

I attended last Monday's class - if you can even call it a class. I learned absolutely nothing. I left early and I wasn't the only one to leave. One girl was crying hysterically about "getting ripped off for $1000" I had to leave before I started crying - I couldn't take another second of that woman form South Africa doting about how great she is or not even being offered a glass of water or a stool to sit on. I just wanted to say to anyone considering giving any money to this fraudulent company, that you will be sorry. The whole thing is a joke (I wish). Just about everything they tell you about their company is not true. They say their hair is 20" All the hair I saw was 17-18" long. They say that their hair is "virgin European hair" - It is colored Chinese hair. They say your "zip code" is exclusive territory but they have nothing in force to stop someone with a different zip code from setting up next door to you. I was told that they have no intention to prevent this from happening. So what was it we purchased for $1000? Oh yea, in case someone calls in on their non- existant adds or goes on their website to find a location, when none are listed, and they happen to put in your zip code - then you would get the call that you also would have to pay for and that they get to listen too. They claim that they have a unigue system - but it the same thng as hairlocs. The extenion tubes are smashed flat with a plier, therefore the hair is not attached very securely and the extensions fall out easily. I wouldn't be surprised if Hairlocs doesn't sue them for patent infringement. They say the hair is reusable for a year but not without sending back to China (place of origin) to be rebonded. Nothing new and different here - just another hair extension company lying about what they sell.

When it comes to getting your money back for poor, un organized training by an educator who is a Paris Hilton "WANNA BE" self opinionated and does not realize she is nothing without Paris, all you get is the run around with excuse after excuse. I have left messages, sent e-mails, but do you think I have had a response from the only educator Dreamcatchers has? NO!!! Stange thing is one of her former stylists told me that this educator is not even a qualified cosmetoligist.

Anonymous said...

Not a qualified cosmetoligist and she has the nerve to talk down to me as if how dare I question her? When I asked for something to drink, she looks at me as if I am asking her for the un thinkable. I think we all need to get together and seek legal advise. This is clearly misrepresentation!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Yeah, it sounds right. I was told by the blond with long hair to "F---k Off" if I did not like the way she was running the class in Chicago, needless to say I and about 30 other demanded our money back and walked out.

Anonymous said...

I purchased 19 zip codes and have been involved for almost 3 months and have received NO phone calls!!! Has any one else received any business form DC besides Laura Winburg and the person from Houston?

Anonymous said...

Dreamcatchers is a candy coated scam! I went in for additional training to become one of their educators, not only did they charge me another $500 but the educators training was no different from their one day training! I can see why everyone is so un happy. The blonde who is the only educator should pack her bags and go back to south africa. She has no people skills.

Anonymous said...

How can she be an educator if she is not a qualified cosmetoligist? This is a scam, certifying a stylist but the educator herself is not even certified. Hang on maybe she got certified by hair locks!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Anyone can be an educator that works for a manufacturer. However, you can not teach haircutting without a license. I don't know about anyone else but she tought this in my class. You can go to the California state cosmetology board website and look up anyone's license and according to their records - she is not licensed. So she should not be doing hair either. I think they might want to know about this. The more complaints - the better!!! You can do this online at their site.

Anonymous said...

Virgin european hair, yeah sure who are you kidding. Re-usable, please my clients are complaining that the hair is course after a couple of washes. The tips at the end of the extensions are disintegrating know they expect my client to pay to have them re-tipped. What a scam, you can re-use them over and over...

Anonymous said...

I went in for training and it was all a scam! The owner with his wiglet and smooth talking is like a second hand car salesmen. Promises you everything just to get your money! As for his breakthrough in hair regrowth, why is he wearing a wig? Oh yes, next time inform your clients before they sign up tell them about the hidden fees!

Anonymous said...

Wow, people are still talking about this, get a life!

I have had the extensions in for 5 weeks now and never have had a problem!! Maybe people should go and invest $25 in a REALLY HIGH QUALITY conditioner and you would not have any issues. Also go to a stylist who knows their right hand from their left and you would also eleviate problems because I have NO ISSUES because i have a FABULOUS stylist. I love these extensions. Dream Catchers training is only 1000 dollars! if you cant afford that, then how big is your clientele. most extension classes i have found to run a lot more than $1,000 bucks. Why does everyone hide behind the computer --put your name up!

Anonymous said...

Hide behind a computer, just wait. we will see when the law suite hits them for their false ways, how they are going to try and talk themselves out of that or let me guess the lady who sold me my zip code wont be there any more....

I'll put my name up after I get my refund! for a class that was shocking with a pathetic tool kit - a pliers with a logo a piece of gut with a colot swatch, you guys are cheap and you expect me to be happy! It has been just on two weeks, after many calls and I still dont have my refund I was promised. Question is does dreamcatchers have money, because if they are so BIG and cant even afford to refund $ 1000? Dreamcatchers is a scam that going to come to an end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Can I ask my fellow stylists a simple question? Have you ever been billed by the company for the so called "hidden fees". I really don't think so! I havent recieved one bill nor gave money to them. I have placed many many orders and I've been with Dreamcatchers since March!
Note to stylists: We are here to make money! If you say this company is scaming you! Take a look at your self, you are scamming your own gosh darn clients by over pricing your colors and cuts! But thats what we do right to make money and pay our bills! Why bring down something that is helping you increase your income, it sure has helped me, by the way now I am on a more personal level with my clients!
As for the tool kit, did you not realize that all you need is a tool applicator to apply these! Did you want this dipped in gold!!!! HAHAHA I wish!
All of YOU make us stylist look bad putting up these comments about a company that frankley has done not harm but help us contune to service our clients!

Anonymous said...

I have to agree you Lorraine. I have converted all of my GL clients to Dream Catchers. I also have received about 7 new clients through the Dream Catchers advertising campaign. All of these people are complaing about
"hidden fees", is there something i am not aware of? all I know is that I contribute something like $500 bucks every 6 mos. for advertising --if I do 10 or more clients , which is fine with me because that will help generate me more clients. these cheap jews are going to give this product a negative stigma by posting all of their comments. Hey Lorraine where are you from anyway?

I dont believe Paris knew what she was getting involved with when she was approched by this South African guy and his wife (who is not even a qualified stylist let alone an educator) to endors their extension system thats a knock off from Hair Locks. I recently attended a training course in Chicago for a second time cause the first education class run by this Paris wanna be(the head educator who does not even have a licence )was a joke. To my suprise they have now two former head educators of Great Lengths trying to pick up the pieces. They were upfront, honest and did a great job. I was quite surprised because the third guy whom I'd never seen before obviously also from South Africa, was open and honest about everything and even considering the amount of complaints that was thrown at him he did not try and hide anything or mislead anyone. AS I WAS MISLEAD IN THE BEGINNING ONLY TO FIND OUT LATER ABOUT ALL THE HIDDEN FEES AND COSTS AT THE TRAINING AFTER I HAVE ALL READY PAID. I ask why was this not like this from the beginning??????????????????????????????????????????????????

Anonymous said...

I RECENTLY REQUESTED MY MONEY BACK FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY CALLED DREAMCATCHERS - I WAS ONLY TOLD ABOUT THE HIDDEN FEES ON THE MORNING OF MY TRAINING , THE $ 500 CONTRIBUTION PER ZIP CODE EVERY SIX MONTHS. THE OWNER SPOKE SO FAST TRYING TO BUTTER US UP ON HOW WELL HE DID IN SOUTH AFRICA AND HOW MUCH MONEY WE COULD MAKE IN SELLING THESE DREAMCATCHERS THEN TRIED TO SELL US HIS HAIR REGENERATION PROGRAM, YOU SEE I DID SOME RESEARCH ON WHAT HE HAD SAID AND FOUND OUT THATS HE WEARS A WIG AMOMG OTHER THINGS. SO IF YOU WANT ME TO INVEST $4500 IN YOUR LASER MACHINE AND MIRICLE PRODUCTS WHY ARE YOU NOT USING IT! IT ALL RAISES QUESTIONS, JUST WAIT....

While the dreamcatchers do tend to fall out more easily than the keratin bonded ones it is by far the best quality hair i have ever had. Hi my name is Lorraine and I have bought four zip codes, only to find out by Jennifer and Christine from Dreamcatchers that anyone can operate in my zip codes as long as they dont advertise in my zip codes. They both are rude and get agressive on the phone when you ask them a valid question that they do not want to answer, then the conversation is cut short and put the phone down on me. What great service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had endless problems with the cylinders turning green and my clients are complaining daily. Jennifer did send me new cylinders but they too turned green. I must agree that when I called in to explain these problems I am facing no one was intrested and I was put on hold. As for jennifer saying if you have any problems speak to the owner because she has to get off the phone, I find this un proffesional and not exceptable. What kind of a company is this? I then get passed on to another lady who appoligizes for eveything but I still sit with the same problem.

One thing does come to mind, every time there is something negatively said about this company there is a anonymous stylist who only has good to say... The complaints all seem to be of the same nature so could eveyone be wrong? Is it possible that this company is monitering these complaints and answering them themselves? As a survey please include you zip code with your correct initials should you have anything positive or negative to say. Jane is not my real name and I'd love to leave my details but as I have purchased more than one zip code and is trying to sell them, it has been made quite clear to me by Dreamcatchers that they are doing me a favor in spending their time re-selling these zip codes for me. The sales girl who sold me these zip codes was so convinceing that I invested in more than one with all her promises of how much money I could make. Now she is rude, abrupt and speaks down to me as if I am a child and if I dont like it I may speak to the owner. Yet the owner is never availible and then I am put on hold to speak to the manageress who knows and can do nothing. Im glad to see that something is being done about this company and it's poor service.

What IS being done about this company? I bought 5 zip codes and they refuse to list me on their site as a stylist - if that is not fraud I don't know what is. We have purchased 2 zips codes, attended a class and have started using DreamCatchers in our salon and are 100% pleased in every single aspect of the company including the products. It is unfortunate for those of you who have had issues with the product or the employees of the company. I just wanted to go ahead and put it out there that there are people that believe this is a truly amazing extension and have a dozen clients and 3 of our stylists who have been wearing them everyday for the past 3 months with no problems at all what-so-ever. Sorry guys, we don't agree but think it might be a good idea for you to stop doing them so that people like us who are VERY pleased with them will have the opportunity to do them properly for even more clients with better results than you are having. Just a thought.

Holy Crap! I came here for some answers, I've never had extensions before and was considering them for a short time while my hair grows. Unfortunately several months ago my stylist really screwed up and damaged my hair so bad I had to cut it from my mid-back above my chin to get it to stop breaking. Anyway, I just can't take it anymore so someone suggested extensions but I didn't want glues, weaves, or braids since they can ruin your hair. This system seemed fool proof, the only salon I could find to do the process for a reasonable price carried the Dream Catchers and was 3 hours away. Another salon about an hour away carries the DC's but charges more, she wanted my business so she called back and offered a new product called "Aqua" hair extension, they have a site but offer very little info and google came up with no other info beside the site itself. Funny thing I seem to be seeing here is that everyone with negative things to say about DC's post "Anonymous" and everyone with positives post with a name, hummmmmm, this seems a bit suspect to me. Typically I don't post to blogs, I just read and collect info but this one had me so frustrated, sounds like a lot of people with a vendeta against Paris. She's rich, she's beautiful, she has cars and purses I could only dream of affording, get over it. But please, if anyone has heard anything about these Aqua extensions I'm all ears because the stylist is only offering $50 less than the DC's at the other place, and if they're as good as people are saying...

I just had to say one more thing, that $1000 dollar training and tool kit fee you're all complaining about, if you would stop bad mouthing the product and get at least 2 clients to put them in, your training would pay for itself. If you do a good job you might even generate more business for your salon. The 3 salons I called for prices all quoted me $1000 to $1700 depending on how much hair I needed. You're complaining about spending $1000 for a product to boost your business and there's plenty of people like myself out there paying that just to have the hair put in, plus the money to come back every month for the adjustments. I'm sorry you're having trouble with the company itself but maybe if you stopped being so negative for a minute and put a bug in just one person's ear about positives with the product itself that bug might travel. Afterall, that's how I heard, I never would have dreamed of spending that kind of money on my hair before, I think my husband stopped breathing for a second LOL!

Why is it, everytime there is a negative comment written about dreamcatchers and there staff, there is a anonymous client who paraises them? Why do these clients of dreamcatchers not leave there names and zip codes they bought on this site, so that we may contact them? Is it because dreamcatchers is monitoring this site and writing these so called positive comments from ghost clients themselves.

The reason I am posting anonymous is because last time I posted something on a webste where I was telling the truth- I got sued and it cost me $1000's of dollars. Even if you are telling the truth anyone can still sue you and then you have to spend money to answer the suit and defend yourself. I will NEVER do that again. I actually have posted on this blog several times before. Approximately 1 year ago I purchased probably more zip codes than anyone else they ever had and then I took their "class" where it immediately became obvious to me that this whole operation is worse than a joke - it is an outright SCAM. Fortunately, I got all of my money back but it's only because I disputed the charges on my credit card and because I was the first to do this they did not fight me. Now I understand it is virtually impossible to do this because they now expect people to attempt to get their money back. I really haven't been on this board since this happened to me because I am completely out of their deal. I decided to post again because I just found out that this company did a deal with Sally's Beauty Supply and now they sell the exact same product to the public -no license required. WOW - they went about as low as you can go. Appearently they have been doing this for many months but I do not shop at Sally's (I go to real beauty supply stores that sell only to licensed people)so I just found out about it. You can go to Sally's website and check it out for yourself. I ahve been in the hair extension industry for over 20years and this is by far the biggest "sell out" I have ever seen. I hope now all those positve posters eat their words.

To all the anonymous complainants. This is directed at you. Why do you not state name? Surely you would like people to know where you are from, so that you all can get together. Just so that you know. You as a hairstylist make your own name in the Industry. If you want to stagnate it is your own problem and not dreamcatchers. A happy client will always come back and tell her friends about it. The gripe you have seems to be with the owners and not the product. So what now? Dream Catchers is about a unique opportunity, quality hair that is from Europe, not China as stated in a few blogs (ANY QUALIFIED STYLIST CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE) and an easy way to attach and maintain. We are very familiar with Dream Catchers and know that Jennifer and Christine are professional and efficient. Sometimes being efficient can come accross as being arrogant or rude. Especially if what you hear is not what you want to hear. So please, stop badmouthing Dream Catchers. The product is GREAT.

DREAM CATCHERS CANNOT EVEN AFFORD TO STOCK HAIR ANYMORE, LET ALONE PAY PARIS HILTON --THEY HAD TO HIRE A COMPANY CALLED NEW CONCEPTS IN FLORIDA WHOM THEY BUY HAIR FROM AND THEN HAVE THIS COMPANY PAY PARIS!! LAME!! IM SURPRISED THEIR PHONES ARE STILL ON....IM JUST SAYIN...

im surprised their phone are on but moreover that the owner, chris volek is not in jail yet for tax evasion, fraud and drugs...im just sayin'

I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE SOME CORRECTIONS BASED ON FACT.

1.DIANNE VOLEK IS NOT SOUTH AFRICAN, SHE IS FROM THE UK, LEFT HER TWO SONS WITH HER HUSBAND CHRIS (IRONIC SAME NAME) TO LIVE WITH CHRIS VOLEK (WHO LEFT HIS WIFE ALEX TO BE WITH HER, BY THE WAY ALEX `WAS MADE TO HAVE AN ABORTION`, A TRUELY LOVELY LADY), CHRIS VOLEK IS SOUTH AFRICAN UNFORTUNATELY. HIS MOTHER WAS A VET FROM UK.

2.CHRIS VOLEK TELLS HIS EMPLOYEES TO `TREAT THEM LIKE A PIECE OF MEAT`, HIS EXACT WORDS.

3.HE IS A MENTALLY DISTURBED LITTLE `PRICK`, (THATS A SOUTH AFRICAN QUOTE ABOUT HIM), PLEASE DONT DEGRADE SOUTH AFRICANS BECAUSE OF HIM, HE IS ONE IN 100 MILLION. HE BECAME BALD BEFORE HE WAS 25, THATS PROBABLY WHY HE IS SO FIXATED WITH HAIR.

4.DIANNE VOLEK HAS NOT BEEN DOING HAIR FOR 20 YEARS AS THE WEBSITE SAYS, SHE 13 YEARS AGO WAS A HOUSEWIFE IN BIRMINGHAM WITH TWO BOYS AGE 5 (OLIVER) AND 3 (SAM), WHO WANTED THE HIGH LIFE AND THE BUCKS.SHE HAD NO EDUCATION WITH HAIR OF ANY SORT.

5.CHRIS VOLEK HAS HAD A FEW COMPANIES AND HAS ALWAYS LOST OUT WHEN PEOPLE FINALLY SEE WHATS BEHIND THE MASK, HE CANT HELP HIMSELF,ITS DIFFICULT TO HIDE A PERSONALITY DISORDER.

6.HE SWEARS LIKE THERES NO TOMORROW AND CAN THROW FITS LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE,I AM SURPRISED HE IS NOT A MASS MURDERER!BUT I GIVE IT TO HIM, HE IS SUCH A TALENTED LIAR, AND I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU ALL YOU AMERICANS, YOUVE BEEN AND ARE BEEN TAKEN FOR SUCKERS.

7.PLEASE TAKE NOTE CHRIS VOLEK DOES NOT HAVE ANY `GENUINE` FRIENDS,WHY NOT? YOU TRY AND CONTACT ANYBODY WHO IS NOT RELATED TO HIM AND SEE WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THE LITTLE PRICK.

8.I CAN GUARANTEE YOU THAT THIS COMPANY WILL NOT LAST, AND YES THE PRODUCT IS THE VERY CHEAPEST,INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING, WHY DOESNT SOMEBODY HAVE THOSE EXTENSIONS TESTED? YOU WILL THEN HAVE A CLAIM AGAINST THEM....

9.CHRIS VOLEK HAS NEVER PAID HIS BILLS, ITS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR AGES,THEY SPEND THEIR MONEY ON BOOZE,THE HIGH LIFE,AND DOPE, AND MY DEARS HE KNOWS WHEN TO BAIL OUT AND DOES SO FASTER THAN LIGHTNING.

I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST OF LUCK.

Are u by any chance ROB LITTLE?
If so please contact me on mail address jahaco@mweb.co.za

Anonymous said...

My name is Robert Little, former Director of Operations of Hairtech / Dreamcatchers. My employment was terminated by the CEO of Hairtech Mr. Chris Volek as we did not share the same ethical values.

Salon owners and stylists have been enticed to purchased the Dreamcatchers by Paris Hilton Exclusive Territory Rights, on the involvement, association, credibility and endorsement of Paris Hilton. And on the promise of owning Exclusive Territory rights - “One salon, one zip code - unlike other hair extension suppliers (who will sell to anyone) you own the exclusive rights to Dreamcatchers in your zip code - locking out your competitors.” Frequently quoted and seen in the Dreamcatchers advertisements and web site.

Salon owners, stylists, their clients and consumers have been enticed to purchased the Dreamcatchers by Paris Hilton hair extensions, on the promise of only receiving:
“The Worlds Best Hair Extensions 100% unprocessed virgin European hair.” “The best quality hair extensions in the world! Our extensions are virgin, unprocessed hair from Europe.” “Dreamcatchers are no ordinary hair extensions and are made of the finest virgin European hair.” “Most other hair extension companies de-cuticlize the hair leaving it course and sometimes un manageable. To ensure Dreamcatchers elite quality, we leave the cuticles intact.” All of the above frequently quoted and seen in the Dreamcatchers promotional material, advertisements and web site. “

A description of regular extensions was given by Hairtech / Dreamcatchers to make a clear differentiation between Dreamcatchers hair extension and regular hair extensions. Seen in promotional material and on the dreamcatchers.com web site “Throwaway, cheap, poor quality hair usually from India: designed to be disposable“.

Within my employment with Hairtech / Dreamcatchers I became aware of unethical practices violating both the salon owners, stylists and consumers rights. I requested that such practices cease immediately and be corrected. On September 17th, 2007 I gave Mr. Chris Volek / Hairtech a Letter of Concern delineating these concerns and requested that such unethical practices cease.

On October 19th, 2007 I directed another written request to Mr. Chris Volek / Hairtech requesting that he retract various misleading and false claims. Despite my requests and efforts such was ignored.

On November 5th, 2007 I directed another written communication to Mr. Chris Volek / Hairtech reflecting that I have made numerous requests both verbal and in writing that he retract various misleading claims and statements. Despite my requests and efforts such was ignored.

On or about January 17th, 2008 a Citation and Cease and Refrain Order was served on to Hairtech / Dreamcatchers by Paris Hilton by the State of California Department of Corporations, "IN THE PUBLIC'S INTEREST FOR THE PROTECTION OF INVESTORS."

I am aware that in the contract between Hairtech, Paris Hilton Entertainment and Beanstalk, all uses of the name and likeness of Ms. Paris Hilton in the endorsement has to be pre approved by Paris Hilton Entertainment and Beanstalk. Such approval encompasses but is not limited to Hairtech/Dreamcatchers advertisements, labeling, promotional material, quotes, text, slogans, web site, product packaging and the campaign for Hairtech/Dreamcatchers.

Therefore I have brought these concerns to Paris Hilton Entertainment and Beanstalk’s attention and requested that they look into this matter and further asked that they provide a written statement providing clarity if they were aware of the unethical practices and/or would approve such?

The matter filled against Chris Volek / Hairtech in the Superior Court reflects these unethical practices. Should you believe or be of the opinion that your rights have been violated by Hairtech / Dreamcatchers relating to product authenticity and the supply thereof, misleading claims, statements and false advertising or believe that your rights and terms of agreement have been violated relating to the exclusive territory rights you have purchased from Hairtech / Dreamcatchers or have had a negative experience with Hairtech / Dreamcatchers or have a claim against them and need clarity and/or testimony supporting your claim and concerns, please contact me at skylaw873@gmail.com that these concerns may be addressed and rectified.

Its nice to see Rob little decided to do the right thing. Why did you stay so long in such wrong? I met you when you were having me sign a lie. You could have prevented me from wasting my money on this lie. Im sure you have a lot to address and rectify. I think you knew they were crooked along time ago... Why did you stay so long?

Hi there would you mind sharing which blog platform you're using? I'm going to start my own blog in
the near future but I'm having a hard time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something completely unique.
P.S My apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
